On Tuesday, March 3rd a customer at the Visalia ReStore accidentally drove his pick-up truck into the warehouse holding fundraising and ReStore items, destroying a large portion of one exterior wall and  items inside. The truck drove into numerous cans of paint that were on display outside the warehouse leaving the interior, exterior, and floor of the building, covered in paint. The clean-up will need to be extensive and the repair of the warehouse will take time. A complete tally of the items lost has not yet been possible.

The staff at Habitat for Humanity are so grateful that no one was hurt and the driver of the pick-up truck walked away with no serious injuries. All the items and even the building can be replaced or repaired but people cannot. Thank you to the Visalia police and fire department for all their help.
