From Mary Olvera-ED of “Life Goes on”.

I have exciting news for you.

Habitat for Humanity of Tulare/Kings Counties has agreed to continue the vision of “Life Goes On” (LGO) by including it as part of its ongoing mission to create “a world where everyone has a decent place to live.”

This was always the vision of LGO, as all of you know and many of you have supported.  This partnership may come as a surprise to many.  However, Art and I always envisioned a “greater” vision for LGO, one that would, in fact, create a world where everyone has a decent place to live, including those who are challenged physically or otherwise but who are too often overlooked and under served.

You all know Art was not an “LGO figurehead.” He was actively involved with LGO operations. Half of our operations team passed with him on April 10, 2018.

Now with the help of Habitat for Humanity, 100 percent of Art’s and your efforts will not only continue, but be expanded to create the world we envisioned together: one where “everyone has a decent place to live,” and one which is also fully accessible to those whose “Life Goes On” despite its many challenges.

I will continue to be involved in LGO through Habitat for Humanity, and I’m excited to share and keep the vision of LGO moving forward with them. Please continue to support the work of LGO by contributing to a special designated fund held by Habitat for Humanity for projects that assist physically-challenged homeowners. The form to donate is below.

I hope that your “Life Goes On” with our organization being part of our journey. Together we will ensure as many people as possible share in “a world” of accessible placed to live.
