RE/MAX Visalia opened it’s doors 25 years ago and Ed Evans began building his team of agents to provide the best real estate service in Tulare and Kings counties. Now, with more than 50 agents working for RE/MAX Visalia, Ed is celebrating this milestone by giving back.
“This is an opportunity for the housing industry to support affordable housing and give back” said Ed. “This community has been good to us, and now we have an opportunity to be good to the community”.
RE/MAX Visalia and Habitat for Humanity of Tulare/Kings Counties have joined forces to raise funds though financial support, in-kind services and material supplies.
The future homeowner partner has been chosen and Jennifer will work with Habitat, RE/MAX, and the community, to build a forever home for herself and her two boys.
All Habitat homeowner partners are required to put in up to 250-500 hours of sweat equity building the house or working on other Habitat projects. They must have steady income/good credit and be a legal US resident/citizen. When the home is complete they will make affordable monthly mortgage payments back to Habitat for the life of the loan. This maintains a revolving loan fund that gives Habitat the ability to help other families in the future.
You can support this project by becoming a sponsor through a monetary donation or in-kind donation of product or services. As an individual, you can donate any amount to help support this project. Every dollar donated will help with material purchases such as lumber, nails, electrical wire, drywall and much, much more. For direct sponsorship please fill out the form below. To donate in-kind services or products please contact the Habitat office at 559-734-4040 x 100 or email info@hfhtkc.org.
