This year, Habitat for Humanity’s International Women Build Week is going Virtual. March 11th at 5:30pm, we will share information about Habitat’s work, about the history and reason for Women Build and have you join us as we dedicate the Hanford home with new homeowner Victor Grey and his family. The project at 403 W Cameron started in the Spring of 2020 and was a beacon for Habitat during the pandemic. Providing affordable housing is so important for the health and welfare of families, and the entire community. Please join us and celebrate with another Habitat family as they start their journey towards independence and stability.

Habitat’s Women Build events provide the opportunity for women to take a proactive step in serving their communities and learn how to construct a home with no experience necessary. Volunteers work under the guidance of construction professionals, alongside other volunteers and future Habitat homeowners. Whether you are learning new skills or simply adding a few to your tool belt, this is a rewarding experience for all involved. Working together improves the community that we share. Women helping women sends a positive and powerful message. Check out pictures from other Women Builds.
